Chara Info: "I'm not a coward. . .but I know I have to be stronger," Arc says to himself before he runs from his town. He is not a typical adventurer -- he would prefer to curl up with a good book and expand his mind. This makes him a unique but useful member of the Light Warriors.

Why Him?: I seem to have a thing for old-school FF androgynous males who are somewhat reluctant adventurers. Plus, his Freelancer outfit is really nice! I also had a wig lying around that was perfect for him, so cheaper costumes are always a plus.

The Story: Tenshi buys a DS. Tenshi buys FFIII for that DS. Tenshi falls in love with Arc at first sight and decides he needs to be cosplayed NOW :3.

This costume is a mix of thrift store and handmade items. The sweater and leggins are purchased, although the leggins were taken in to make them tighter. The jacket is made out of linen-look with suedecloth trim and moleskin ties. The capelet is crinkle cotton, and the collar is cotton sateen. The boots, belts, and gloves were made from super stretchy suedecloth, with crinkle cotton cuffs. The belt buckles are a mix of Lexan and craft foam. They were first spraypainted silver, then drybrushed with black acrylic to give them a more realistic look. The wig was one I already had on hand, trimmed a little bit in the back.
