Romeo x Juliet

Chara Info: Romeo is the son of the ruler of Neo-Verona. Unlike his cold and cruel father, Romeo has a caring heart and seems to care about all people. His life begins to change once he meets Juliet.
Why Him?: I was cosplaying Red Whirlwind, Juliet's alter ego, so Robbie decided to be my Romeo *_*.
The Story: This was Robbie's Masquerade costume for Anime Expo 2007!
The shirt and jacket are made from various types of cotton and linen blends, and based on commercial patterns. The sleeves were puffed with elastic. The pants were bias-cut stretch knit, just like Red Whirlwind's. The collar was a lesson in patience, since each little box had to be topstitched on! The boots came from Robbie's Parn costume.
The wig was originally a bob, cut into the boycut style. The color combination is a unique one I've never seen before -- turquoise blue mixed with brown-black. I really like the vivid color, and the black strands help it look more natural on Robbie.
The embroidery on the back is my latest project. I digitized and embroidered it myself, and there's a lot of detail in that small design!
I am very proud of this costume and the entire 2007 RxJ project because I put so much work into it all! Three costumes and two gigantic props -- wow, that was a lot of work!
